My understanding is that in 1.10+ extra modifiers are no longer a matter. Newspaper parts still permit more than modifiers - I believe a full tool made out of newspaper will allow you to put 5 reinforcement plates on it, rendering it unbreakable.

I don't know if it is a tinkers construct addon or not but in that location are particular you can craft which if put on a a tool give it an extra modifier

I don't know if information technology is a tinkers construct addon or not simply there are item you tin arts and crafts which if put on a a tool give it an actress modifier

Back in 1.seven.10, but not in ane.10.two. In ane.10.ii the nether star does something else... Soulbound I believe? So it stays with you if you die. The others simply don't work.
